ooh. helps you identify belongings and see a rough resale-value estimate. You can use the app without creating an account.

Photos and item data

When you scan an item, the selected photo, your App Store country, and currency are sent securely to our service and to OpenAI solely to identify the item and estimate a rough resale range. ooh. does not store your scan photos on its servers. OpenAI requests are sent with API storage disabled. Photos and saved item details in your collection remain on your device unless you remove the app or delete them.

Usage data

We keep a random installation identifier, app version, country code, basic product events such as scan success or purchase completion, and API usage totals. This helps us operate the service, prevent abuse, understand whether the experience works, and control costs. We do not use advertising trackers and do not sell personal data.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement and transaction status from StoreKit, not your payment-card details.

Retention and choices

Analytics and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate and improve ooh. You may delete locally saved items inside the app. Because there is no ooh. account, there is no account profile to delete.
